Seneca Farms Dyer Rd. & Turner Rd. Let It Go Antiques
  Dyer Road & Turner Road

Project Description

These beautiful home sites are located on Dyer Road and Turner Road, Green Township, near Lake Pleasant Road in Union City, PA.

Dyer Road

Dyer Road is unique because it dead ends at a 1,400 acre State Game Land, one of the largest game lands in Pennsylvania, just 1/4 mile from the property. This offers miles of trails, open-space and water features. We, in the family, refer to it as "God's Home."

This beautiful valley area has large farms and some of the most beautiful and expensive homes in the area, some of which exceed $500,000.

These prime home sites offer the value of being located in this area as well as the peace and quiet of this little traveled road to heaven. Extra acreage is also available.

Turner Road

John Vietze purchased The Turner Road property in 2000, when he moved to the area from Scottsdale. He researched the area for almost two years before deciding to purchase the Turner Farm from Mrs. Turner, who also resides on Turner Road.

The farmhouse is a three bedroom, two full baths, and is approximately 2300 square feet. It has a 24 X 32 attached two car garage and a huge “bank barn”. A bank barn has two levels designed for animals on the bottom level. John has remodeled the house with special attention to the beautiful kitchen with lots of cabinet space. The entire roof on the house was remodeled in the fall of 2006. The house is currently on a five acre parcel but John owns 18 more additional acres that all or part could be available.

The area where the farm is located in desirable Greene Township is considered one of the best areas to reside. The farm house directly across the street reportedly cost over $700,000 to construct according to its owner. Just down the street a large estate farm near Lake Pleasant Road is currently for sale for over $800,000. The Turner Farm back up to Siegle Marsh State Gameland providing permanent open space and deer often meander within view.

Seneca Farms has leased the Majerik Farm on the corner of Lake Pleasant Road which has a five bedroom farm house, full barn and commercial building that was previously used as a garage for truck to deliver milk to and from the local farms. John, who is in the antique business, is in the process of moving his antiques to the Majerik Farm because the facilities are better for his antique business. Were it not for his antique business, John would prefer to reside on the less traveled Turner Road and enjoy the view of the gameland and the privacy he enjoys on Turner Road.
